I recently sent Cymande away overnight to Amelia Island to restore some sanity and catch up on a little sleep. While away I took the boys on a "River Adventure" which included a check list of animals we complied before we left. First animal that Moss spotted? An alligator. I never saw the alligator but I took his word for it.
The next activity is called Parking Garage Luge. This is how it works: Ride your bicycle with Moss and Giles in the trailer to the Shands Parking Garage (on the weekend when it's empty). Then you ride onto the elevator to the top deck. Then you exit the elevator and ride down and down and down to the delight of everyone. Repeat.
Another activity was Depot Day. The Gainesvile Depot will be part of a 32 acre city park and this was the opening of the Depot after it was moved and restored. The park will be completed in 3 years, but I'm already obsessed with it.
Our weekend adventure also included a ride to Payne's Prarie. I overheard UF mathmatics professors discussing the physics of riding a bicycle. On of them was wearing a fullface helmet, gloves, knee guards, shin guards and elbow guards.

Christmas Morning. When Moss and Giles came downstairs in the dark I asked if Santa came and Moss said, "Nooo" and then he saw the train tracks and just kept repeating "Oh! Oh! Oh!"
Giles played on the Island of Sodor for about 2 hours before emerging for food.

On Christmas Day, I introduced Cymande to Parking Lot Luge. After she rode down she reminded me to bring our insurance cards next time we go. Later, we stopped at Wilamot Gardens and played amongst the (apparently famous) Camelias.
