Anthony and Faye visited from Okinawa for 2 weeks. Giles and Moss are accoustomed to them being the grandparents on the computer screen and suddenly they appeared in the flesh. We all decided to celebrate Christmas again and again and again. More food, more presents, more tantrums, and more trips to the movies while the Grandparents babysat.
Cambridge reading to Moss and Giles on New Year's Eve morning. The boys get unusually quiet and attentive around their Aunt Cambridge even though they talk about her all the time. Their blushed cheeks give away their real feelings about her...
Though they were jetlagged from a day long flight, Anthony and Faye hit the ground running. They took the boys to the zoo and the aquarium, cooked, did laundry and cleaned the house.

New Year's Eve was a quite the event. Cymande and I were accompanied by our old friend Allison who travelled from Portland and our newish friend Casey that travelled a few miles. We started at The Jones B-Side where we were presented with a multicourse meal paired with wine. We then brought in the new year at The Top. There were several rounds including Manhattans and something called Chocolate Cake Shots. There was even some vintage foosball played. Remarkably, we found our way home (though Cymande doesn't quite remember that part). The night had historic value and will henceforth be referred to as: "Best New Year's Eve Eva"
